The Congress will feature business meetings of the IIR's 10 commissions which activities are coordinated by the Science and Technology Council. In some cases a joint commission meeting has been proposed.

Sub-Commissions
Presidents of commissions may set up sub-commissions in order to study certain aspects within the domain of the commission. The Congress will feature a business meetings of Sub-Commission D1 on Refrigerated Display Cabinets.
