Congress Figures

Following the brief summary presented at the closing session on the Friday, we provide here what we believe are the final figures concerning the 23rd IIR International Congress of Refrigeration.

The Congress was attended by 944 delegates from 52 countries. The total count includes 64 sponsor or exhibitor representatives, 109 students or young researchers and 63 accompanying persons. China had the largest delegation consisting of 94 people.

The Congress proceedings contained 593 papers, including 6 plenary and invited lectures. The authors came from 44 countries. In terms of number of papers, Refrigerating Equipment (Commission B2) with 150 papers was the most represented IIR commission.
